Budget Recipes: Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Hello everyone! Ever buy slightly unripened bananas and the next day they are already overly ripe? Want to go from overly ripe bananas to beautiful, yummy banana bread in only one hour? If you answered yes to one or both of those questions, then this recipe may be for you! (Okay, maybe there were a few days in between the unripe and ripe bananas) This recipe is simple, quick and quite inexpensive. I went to the store and added up the cost of all of the ingredients, and the total came to around $16. Not too high a price, especially if you are going to use the loaf for a potluck or for a yummy homemade Christmas gift. RECIPE: INGREDIENTS: 3 very ripe bananas 3/4 cup of granulated sugar 1 egg 1 tsp of vanilla extract (or hazelnut extract) 1/4 cup of canola/vegetable oil 1 1/3 cup of flour 1 tsp of baking powder 1/2 tsp of baking soda 1/2  tbs of cinnamon (or 1 tbs if you really like cinnamon, or for the fall when you want some more spice) pinch of nutmeg pin

Throwback Everyday Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone! If you know me, you'll know that I have a slight makeup problem... I have way too much! I was at Winners recently and saw that they had a couple Bellapierre Cosmetics mineral makeup sets on sale for $14... So I thought I'd try it out, and now I can never go back to regular liquid foundations! Mineral makeup is considered to be better for your skin as it is natural, and usually only contains 3-4 natural ingredients. Bellapierre foundation has an SPF of 15 which can cause a little bit of flashback, so if

Matte foundations become your best friend again, you break out those old dark lipsticks and get to finally unleash your inner Morticia.  I thought that I would breakdown some of my favourite drugstore makeup products to use in the Fall:  Foundation: L' Oreal Lumi Foundation in 203. ⁣ ⁣ Concealer: Maybelline Eye Eraser Concealer ⁣ ⁣ Powder: Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder in 10⁣ ⁣ Bronzer and Crease shade: NYX Bronzer in Medium ⁣ ⁣ Blush: Milani Tea Rose ⁣ Highlight and eyeshadow: Maybelline Molten Rose Gold Highlight⁣ ⁣ Eyeliner: L'Oreal Liquid Eyeliner ⁣ ⁣ Mascara: Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara ⁣ ⁣ Lip liner: Rimmel Tiramisu Lipstick: L'Oreal Shining Peach  ⁣ ⁣ Setting Spray: NYX Matte Setting Spray ⁣
