Gift Guides Galore: Sephora VIB Sale

Welcome to Spring! My fave time of year, and one of my fave sales of the year.... The Sephora Spring VIB Sale.  During the Sephora Sale their rewards members receive discounts on all of their products. The dates for the sale and savings are based on your rewards tier:  ROUGE: 20% off from April 17th-May 1st VIB: 15% off from April 21st- April 29th INSIDER: 10% off from April 23rd-April 27th I always use this sale to stock up on gifts for all my friends with May-September birthdays. It's a great way to treat them, but also get a big discount on products that never usually go onsale.  For the simplest navigation, I've broken this guide down into multiple categories and only listed my fave products that I've repurchased, and use consistently.  Face Products:  Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, $52 If you're looking to invest in a good foundation, then I highly recommend this one. It's full coverage, long wearing and blendable.

Palette Breakdown: Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

The Naked 2 palette. First palette I ever panned, and first palette I ever repurchased. ⁣⁣I bought it after I saw Anna Saccone using it back in 2012!  ⁣⁣ I plan on using it up by the end of 2020, as I transition to all vegan and cruelty free products, and I know it will be a sad day once this gorgeous palette is gone! ⁣⁣ These eyeshadows go on incredibly smooth, opaque and blend like a dream! The black shade does have quite a bit of fallout, so when I use it I always make sure to do my face makeup after I apply my eyeshadow. The cool toned shades intensify my brown eyes, which I always find is difficult to do with warm toned eyeshadows. I know that warm tones are more popular, but I’ll always be a cool toned loving gal through and through! ⁣⁣ ⁣ My fave shades are: YDK, Tease, Bootycall, Suspect, and Verve 😍⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ What was your first eyeshadow palette?

Let's Chat: Self Care

What is self care? Is it face masks every Sunday night? Bath bombs and wine?  For me, self care is investing in yourself. Buying quality skincare & haircare products, fuelling my body with better food choices, having big goals and believing I can achieve them; that's my kind of self care.  During this period of isolation, it's hard to remember to do things for yourself, since you are at home all the time and uncertain when you'll be able to leave again. I've been living out of a suitcase for over a month now, and sometimes it does take its toll.  Yes, I know that I am a lucky one. I am at my parents house, I have a job, food to eat and a place to sleep, but I still found myself not take care of my mental health and letting the dreariness of the unknown affect me deeply.  So I’ve decided to use this time to focus on some small goals to give me something to look forward to and work towards, and all of those goals revolve around self care.  ⁣ I’m
