Gift Guides Galore: Sephora VIB Sale

Welcome to Spring! My fave time of year, and one of my fave sales of the year.... The Sephora Spring VIB Sale.

During the Sephora Sale their rewards members receive discounts on all of their products. The dates for the sale and savings are based on your rewards tier:

ROUGE: 20% off from April 17th-May 1st
VIB: 15% off from April 21st- April 29th
INSIDER: 10% off from April 23rd-April 27th

I always use this sale to stock up on gifts for all my friends with May-September birthdays. It's a great way to treat them, but also get a big discount on products that never usually go onsale.

For the simplest navigation, I've broken this guide down into multiple categories and only listed my fave products that I've repurchased, and use consistently.

Face Products:

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, $52
If you're looking to invest in a good foundation, then I highly recommend this one. It's full coverage, long wearing and blendable. I wear the shade Tawny.
You can find the product, here

Becca Undereye Brightening Corrector, $42
The best underye corrector! It covers dark circles and gives you a gorgeous glow. I apply a small amount underneath my concealer and it creates the most beautiful brightened effect. I use the shade light-medium.

Huda Beauty The Overachiever Concealer, $40
Coverage to the max! This concealer is SO full coverage that the tiniest bit goes a long way. The metal applicator also provides a nice cooling effect underneath your eyes, which is super refreshing early in the morning. I wear the shade Nougat.

Cheek Products:

Benefit Hoola Bronzer, $40
The classic contour product! Natural looking, and flattering on most skin tones. I love the formula of this bronzer, it's so smooth and blendable! This also now comes in various shades, but my favourite is the classic Hoola.

Too Faced Candlelight Glow Highlighting Duo, $38
A true glow! No shimmer, or crazy blinding highlight here just straight glow. I love this highlight, it makes you look lit from within.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush, $52
The holy grail of blushes! These melt into your skin, give you a natural flush, and are super longwearing. The full size lasts for ages, but they also come in a travel size. I wear the shade Mood Exposure.

Eyes:

Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Palette, $58
Shimmers, mattes, satins, you name it – this palettes got it! An updated version of the classic Naked palette, this is filled with beautiful warm tones. My fave shades are Bribe, Dreamweaver, Distilled and End Game.

YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils, $41
The only high end mascara that I use! Gives you lots of volume, length and doesn't make your lashes feel crispy (if you know, you know). It also comes in a waterproof version.
You can find the product, here

Brows:

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, $28
There's a reason it's a cult classic! Super fine tip, long wearing, and comes in tons of shades. I use the shades medium brown and ebony.

Lippies:

Tom Ford Lip Color, $73
Go big or go home, right? If you're looking for a luxury beauty product, nothing is more luxurious than Tom Ford. I purchased one of his lipsticks for my 21st birthday, and it has turned into a firm favourite. Smooth, opaque, and the longest wearing lipstick I own. You definitely get what you pay for. I have the shade, Scarlet Rouge.

New Year's Eve Makeup: Kim Kardashian Style

New Year's Eve is the perfect day/night to sport sparkling silver eye makeup, and who better to look to than Kim Kardashian. Eyes: 1. Prep your eye with a base. Be it a cream shadow, a paint pot, or an actual eye shadow primer, it does not matter, it just gives the  eye shadow  and glitter something to adhere to. Jessie's Picks: Urban Decay Primer Potion. Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Dangerous Cuvee. Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Eye Shadow in Galaxy. 2. Apply a matte grey eye shadow all over the lid. Jessie's Picks: Stila Eye Shadow in Diamond Lil. Nars Single Eye Shadow in Lhasa. 3. Using a flat eye shadow brush apply a subtle glitter all over your lid, don't worry if any falls on your skin, as you can wipe it away before you apply your foundation. Jessie's Picks:  Make Up For Ever Glitter in Silver 2. Mac Pigment in Silver Fog. 4. Take a black gel eye liner, and line your upper lash line, creating a flick. Jessie's Picks: Bobbi Brown Gel Eye Li

Fab February: Anna Edwin Makeup

Anna Edwin is a Norwegian blogger. She began her blog in 2009 and she blogs about everything from hair to bowling (well maybe not actually bowling). Her hair and makeup is always flawless, nice and bronzed.  So I thought it would be perfect for spring and to warm us all up. If you want to check out Anna's blog click  here  (her blog is obviously in Norwegian so you'll have to press the translate button). I searched her blog and tried to use the same products that she does. Let's get started on her makeup look! Face: 1. Start with your favourite face primer. Jessie's Picks: Too Faced Primed and Poreless Skin Smoothing Primer. Korres Greek Yoghurt Face Primer. 2. Next apply your concealer underneath your eyes and on any blemishes. Jessie's Picks: Mac Moisturecover Concealer. TheBalm Time Balm Concealer. 3. On a big fluffy face brush buff a matte powder foundation all over your face and down your neck. Makeup Monday: Victoria Beckham Makeup Look

Victoria Beckham is a style icon, and personally one of my top fashion and beauty inspirations. Her fashion line boasts beautiful structure and lines. One half of Britain's "other royal family" Victoria rules the fashion world with an iron fist, having recently launched another successful denim and accessories line. Her makeup hasn't changed much from her Posh Spice days, it has only become more chic and polished. Her signature smokey eye and nude lip can be adapted for any event, outfit, day or night. Here is a lighter daytime version of her signature look that Victoria has been sporting more and more often. Face: 1. Victoria has oily skin so a primer is a must. Pop a little all over your face, making sure to blend down your neck. Jessie's Pick: Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer 2. Smooth a cream foundation over your face, blending it down your neck. Jessie's Picks: Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Foundation or Rimmel Match Perfection Cream Foundation. 3. Dot
