February Favourites 2015

Welcome to my February favourites and my first favourites post of 2015! I actually didn't buy any beauty related items in February, so there are just products that I have had for a while and thought that it was about time I get my moneys worth. Favourites this month:  Nivea Creme- This is a super thick moisturizer, rumoured to be used by the Duchess of Cambridge, and it great if you have dry or dehydrated skin. Skin tends to lose its moisture in the winter, as well as during the changes of season. This moisturizer was $1.50 at Target, and you get quite a bit of product. A little goes a long way, it keeps your skin moisturized, and is a great base for makeup.  Revlon Colourstay Concealer in 02 Light- I picked this concealer up in 2 shades 02 Light and 04 Medium that way I don't have to purchase another concealer once I start to get a little more tan. This is a very thin formula but with great coverage. I really like it on blemishes, and initially I didn't lik...

Jennifer Stano David Makeup Look

(Courtesy of jenniferstano.com) Hello lovely readers! I have recently discovered Jennifer Stano David's blog and I am in love with her and her writing style. She is the owner and designer of the amazing Have Faith Swimgerie and married to very successful business man Alki David. Her everyday makeup look is gorgeous, very natural and pretty, so I thought I would recreate it. I'm going to recreate her look from around 2010 as that was one of my favourites.  Face: 1. Start off by washing, toning, and moisturizing your face. This will create a fresh and clean blank canvas to work on.  2. Apply your favourite light-medium coverage concealer underneath your eyes, around your nose, and onto any blemishes. Then using your fingers or a brush pat the concealer until it blends seamlessly into your skin.  3. On a super fluffy face or bronzer brush take a slightly shimmery bronzer and buff it beneath your cheekbones, sides of your forehead, and along your jawline. T...

Super Quick and Easy Bronze Eye Makeup

Hello everyone! Today's look is a quick and super simple bronze eye makeup. It is fresh, goes fabulous with any eye colour, and is great for days when you want to channel your inner Greek goddess.  1. Starting off, take a cream shimmery taupe eye shadow and apply it all over your eye lid. Slightly blend out the edges using your fingers.  Take a bit of product on a small eyeliner brush and run the colour along your lower lashline.  2. Next take a cream shimmery champagne eye shadow and apply it to the inner corner of your eye using your ring finger. I used Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Barely Branded .   3. Take a flat eye shadow brush and add a dark bronze eye shadow onto the outer v of your eyelid, then blend it up into the crease. I used Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Smog from the original Naked Palette. Pop a little bit of the colour along the outer half of your lower lashline.  4. Grab a fluffy eye shadow brush and blend out the edges of yo...
