Jennifer Stano David Makeup Look

Jennifer Stano! Such a beauty!

Hello lovely readers! I have recently discovered Jennifer Stano David's blog and I am in love with her and her writing style. She is the owner and designer of the amazing Have Faith Swimgerie and married to very successful business man Alki David. Her everyday makeup look is gorgeous, very natural and pretty, so I thought I would recreate it. I'm going to recreate her look from around 2010 as that was one of my favourites.
Face:
1. Start off by washing, toning, and moisturizing your face. This will create a fresh and clean blank canvas to work on.

2. Apply your favourite light-medium coverage concealer underneath your eyes, around your nose, and onto any blemishes. Then using your fingers or a brush pat the concealer until it blends seamlessly into your skin.

3. On a super fluffy face or bronzer brush take a slightly shimmery bronzer and buff it beneath your cheekbones, sides of your forehead, and along your jawline. To match you face to the rest of your body, run whatever is left on your brush down your neck.

4. Choose a peachy neutral blush and apply it along your cheekbones, making sure to blend away any harsh lines.

5. Now to add a pop of colour take a bright pink blush and pop it onto the apples of your cheeks. This will make your face look more awake and youthful.

6.  Dust your face with a translucent powder to set your concealer.

7. To start on the eyes apply a shimmering pink cream eye shadow as a base, blend out the edges with your finger.

8. Next apply a shimmery champagne or pink eyeshadow overtop to set the base shadow, take whatever is left on the brush and run it along your lower lashline.

9. Take a darker pink shimmery eye shadow and blend it through your socket to create definition

10. To darken the outer v and crease apply a matte medium brown shade to the outer lid and crease
 with a fluffy eyeshadow brush.

11. Taking an eyeliner brush and black cream/gel eyeliner and line your top lashline, gradually making the line thicker and then lifting the end to create a wing.

12. Apply a black lengthening mascara to your top and bottom lashes. You can apply as little or as much as you would like, Jennifer seems to apply 1-2 quick coats.

13. Wait for your mascara to dry then take a clean eyelash curler and curl your eye lashes. This will open up your eye and keep your lashes curled all day.

14. For your lips dab a nude peach lipstick onto your lips, and then if you want to add a bit more oomph add a touch of a peach gloss to the centre of your bottom lips, and then gently rub your lips together.

15. I've started doing my eyebrows last as it helps me decide how strong a brow I want to go for in terms of my other makeup. So take an angled brush, a brow powder and fill in your eyebrows, working from the arch outwards.

16. Brush through your lashes with a brow comb or a spoolie to soften any harsh lines.

That's the completed Jennifer Stano look, it is very fresh and pretty while still being noticeable.

For today's Fab February post I thought I would post my makeup wishlist in honour of "Wishful Wednesday".... Yes, I just made that up.... Basically this post is of all the beauty related products that I would like to purchase or try in 2014. Kind of an odd post, but I have read a number of posts like this and I have always found them a useful forum. So if you have tried any of these products or have products that you want to try out in 2014 feel free to comment! 1. Nars Laguna Bronzing Powder . I have heard so much about this bronzer and I think that after my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer runs out this will be my next bronzer purchase. 2. Clinique Cheek Pop Blush in Plum Pop. I have a feeling this blush is going to become my go to for the spring and summer. It looks like a grogeous plum shade which would be perfect for my light-medium cool toned complexion. 3.
