Spring Outfits- Featuring Green

Welcome to Spring! With the weather being above zero almost everyday, I think I can dare to say that spring has arrived. Although I'm not a fan of the mud or water (you're looking at someone who hates messes) I do love the fresh warm air and the cheery spirit that spring brings. Along with the warmer weather comes bright and cheerful fashions! Goodbye drab woolen sweaters and clunky winter boots, hello peach dresses and heels. I thought that I would put together a couple of outfit sets, of different kinds and styles, to help provide some inspiration for all your new spring outfit choices. I decided to have a little fun and incorporate something green into every outfit. Although not very green out right now, we should start to see some nice grass and a few perfect little buds on the trees.

The first outfit is for a night out, or if you like to be fancy like me, an everyday pretty ensemble. A pink or peach a-line dress creates an elegant silhouette while a well-cut, cropped jacket adds warmth and sophistication. Depending on how dressy your dress, choose a more casual jacket to dress down the entire outfit. Complete with heels because everyone should wear heels all the time   this outfit is like a modern day Audrey Hepburn inspired number. The green handbag, of which the choices seem to be innumerable this year, adds a pop of colour to an otherwise monochrome outfit.

Ahh the more comfy outfit! Complete with boyfriend jeans and a slouchy sweater, this look is perfect for a laid-back week end or for all the university students- moving day! The gold bangles add a touch of glamour, and the loafers- well they are just so darn comfy and give a nice menswear feel. Wearing a brightly coloured, but loose sweater with a looser cut jean will help provide a feminine touch to a somewhat shapeless outfit. If your sweater happens to be off-the shoulder like this one, it will add a slightly more flirtatious element to the outfit.

If it is warm enough where you live to wear shorts, please do so. For the rest of who live in a crazy cold climate, wear them for us. To add flirty, feminine touch wear lace shorts- and why not in a bright, happy colour like green! Paired with nude heels and a matching top (notice the heels are the same as the ones in the first set- save some money!) this outfit is classy, chic and oh so versatile. When picking a handbag stick with neutral palette and choose one in a slightly darker shade than there rest of the neutral shades. Or you could bold and choose a bright handbag too! Like yellow or blue- I've also seen a lot of pastel purple handbags recently.

I hope these sets provided some sort of outfit inspiration! Spring is the chance to come out of the drab winter colours and flourish in the bright and pretty ones.

New Year's Eve is the perfect day/night to sport sparkling silver eye makeup, and who better to look to than Kim Kardashian. Eyes: 1. Prep your eye with a base. Fab February: Anna Edwin Makeup

Anna Edwin is a Norwegian blogger. She began her blog in 2009 and she blogs about everything from hair to bowling (well maybe not actually bowling). Her hair and makeup is always flawless, nice and bronzed.  So I thought it would be perfect for spring and to warm us all up. If you want to check out Anna's blog click  here  (her blog is obviously in Norwegian so you'll have to press the translate button). I searched her blog and tried to use the same products that she does. Let's get started on her makeup look! Face: 1. Start with your favourite face primer. Makeup Monday: Victoria Beckham Makeup Look

Victoria Beckham is a style icon, and personally one of my top fashion and beauty inspirations. Her fashion line boasts beautiful structure and lines. One half of Britain's "other royal family" Victoria rules the fashion world with an iron fist, having recently launched another successful denim and accessories line. Her makeup hasn't changed much from her Posh Spice days, it has only become more chic and polished. Her signature smokey eye and nude lip can be adapted for any event, outfit, day or night. Here is a lighter daytime version of her signature look that Victoria has been sporting more and more often. Face: 1. Victoria has oily skin so a primer is a must. Pop a little all over your face, making sure to blend down your neck. Jessie's Pick: Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer 2. Smooth a cream foundation over your face, blending it down your neck. Jessie's Picks: Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Foundation or Rimmel Match Perfection Cream Foundation. 3. Dot
