Tarte Clay Play Face Shaping Palette

Does anyone else forget how good palettes are? And then when you finally get back to them it’s like an awakening? That’s my relationship with the Tarte Clay Play Palette! ⁣

I rediscovered it this weekend while getting ready for a date. I wanted to do a simple, classic, matte look so broke out this palette again and immediately made it my face palette for this month’s project pan. ⁣
It’s made up of all matte eye shadow shades with three mattes bronzers. I have a particular love of matte, cool toned shades and could honestly use this palette forever and never get bored of it! ⁣

Each shade is very pigmented, and blends like a dream. I love to use the bronzer shade desert as my contour and then blend it out with terracotta for a perfectly sculpted contour. 

Tarte has come out with a Clay Play Palette Volume II which includes shimmer eyeshadows, a blush and a highlighter. If you like Tarte formulas and prefer some colour, warm tones and shimmers in your palettes, then I recommend trying that palette as well!

Fab February: Anna Edwin Makeup

Anna Edwin is a Norwegian blogger. She began her blog in 2009 and she blogs about everything from hair to bowling (well maybe not actually bowling).
