Style Saturday: Winter Woollies

Welcome to Style Saturday! Today was nice, sunny and only -12 (yes you read that right). It's my first full day home for the Winter break so I spent it enjoying my family and decorating our Christmas tree. I decided to be comfy today so I chose to wear a warm knit turtlenecked jumper and some high-waisted jeans. The knit sweater is my Mom's and I think quite old so I'm not too sure wear it if from; it has really nice detailing on the sleeves and that just makes the sweater a little bit more glam. The jeans are from Sirens and are very stretchy. I prefer the dark wash jeans as they hide a multitude of sins like that half round of cheese I just ate. Even though they are highwaisted they are still comfortable to sit in and that is a win in my books. The outfit was super comfy, simple and warm which is perfect for our Canadian winter.

For my beauty routine I kept it very simple with well moisturized skin, natural makeup and I just wore my hair in a ponytail. Now that I am home expect more blog posts and maybe some new beauty videos.

Now just cuddled up with my doggy and brother watching the World Junior prelims. Ah! It's good to be home :)

Fab February: Paris Inspired Makeup Look

Welcome to today's Fab February! For my next Hair, Makeup, and Outfit series I will be doing all Paris/French themed looks! Next take a deep moisturizer and blend it into your skin. Jessie's Picks: Nivea Moisturizing Day Cream. Embryollisse Lait Creme Concentre. 3. Take a cream bronzer and apply it to wherever the sun naturally hits your face. Blend out well using your fingers or a buffing brush. Jessie's Picks: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Bronce. Benefot Cosmetics Sun Beam.  4. On a big fluffy powder brush dust a luminous loose powder foundation all over your face and down your neck. Jessie's Picks: R...

Using a flat eye shadow brush apply a subtle glitter all over your lid, don't worry if any falls on your skin, as you can wipe it away before you apply your foundation. Jessie's Picks:  Make Up For Ever Glitter in Silver 2. Mac Pigment in Silver Fog. 4. Take a black gel eye liner, and line your upper lash line, creating a flick. Jessie's Picks: Bobbi Brown Gel Eye Li...

Summer Lace OOTD and Natural Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone! Today's OOTD is my favourite summer look. Lace, loose waves, and a natural makeup look. It was nice and warm today so I brought out one of my favourite dresses. It is from American Eagle, and was given to me by one of my friends a few years ago. I like that it is strapless as when I am outside enjoying the sunshine I don't have to worry about awkward tan lines! I went with a natural and glowing makeup look today, and I even filmed it for you! You can watch the video below. It is inspired by the gorgeous Gigi Hadid. xx Jess Instagram: jessicakinnari
