Makeup Monday: Berry Lip and Glowing Skin Makeup

Hello everyone! Welcome to Makeup Monday, it is time to break out your berry lip shades as we are going to create and ethereal and earthy makeup look. The focus is on glowing skin and deep berry stained lips.

Face:
1. Start off with a moderate to full coverage foundation and apply it with your favourite foundation brush. We want the skin to be as flawless as possible. I used Clinique Even Better Makeup in Golden Neutral, and applied it with a Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.

2. Contour the face using a matte bronzer and an angled brush. Focus on contouring underneath the cheekbones, then lightly contour the sides of your forehead and under your jaw. I used the bronzer shade from the Elf Contouring Blush and Bronzer duo in St Lucia

3. Next pick a shimmery peach blush and using a big, fluffy face brush dust it onto the apples of your cheeks and blend upwards.Look for a very shimmery and light blush as this will enhance your glow and keep with the natural earth shades. I used the peach blush shade from the Elf Contouring Blush and Bronzer duo in St Lucia.

4. Time to go highlight crazy!! Alright, start off with a liquid luminizer/illuminator and dab it on top of your cheekbones, blend this in using a face brush. I used Benefit High Beam and blended it with a Real Techniques Contour Brush.

5. Take a shimmery highlighting powder, and using the brush that you blended the liquid highlighter with, dust this powder on top of your cheekbones, down the centre of your nose, middle of your forehead, and onto your cupid's bow. I used a Stardust Powder.

Eyes:
1. Lightly filll in your eyebrows using a little angled brush and matching brow powder or eyeshadow. I used Elf Eye Brow Kit in Dark and a Body Shop Angled Brush.

2. Prime your lids with a neutral eye shadow primer. This will cancel out any redness or blue/purple veins that can appear on your eyelids. I used the Benefit Stay Don't Stray Eyeshadow Primer.

3. Take a shimmery bronze cream eyeshadow and apply it to your lids. Blend the colour using a fluffy eyeshadow brush. Continue to blend it until it becomes just a soft shimmery shadow. Put a little bit of the colour onto the brush and run it underneath the lashline. I used a bronze lipstick ( Yes, lipstick as eyeshadow) and then blended it out with a Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush.  Maybelline's Colour Tattoo in Tough as Taupe would work great as well.

4.. For eyeliner choose a blue/black eye liner pencil and dab it along the upper lashline in quite a thick line, this doesn't need to be neat as next you are going to take the same eye shadow brush you blended with and blend that eye liner into a soft shadow. This will create a grey smokey effect. I used Annabelle Eye Liner in Black Ink.

5. Curl your lashes and apply two coats of a black volumizing mascara. I used Maybelline the Falsies Big Eyes Mascara in Black.

Lips:

1. Prep your lips with a moisturizing lip balm. I used Smith's Rosebud Salve.

2. Choose either a deep berry lipstick or lipstain and lightly apply it to your lips, rub your lips together to spread out the colour and create more of a "just bitten" effect. I used Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush.

That's the completed look, if you would like to see exactly how I created this look please watch the video here.

New Year's Eve is the perfect day/night to sport sparkling silver eye makeup, and who better to look to than Kim Kardashian. Eyes: 1. Prep your eye with a base. Jessie's Picks: Bobbi Brown Gel Eye Li

Fab February: Anna Edwin Makeup

Anna Edwin is a Norwegian blogger. She began her blog in 2009 and she blogs about everything from hair to bowling (well maybe not actually bowling). Her hair and makeup is always flawless, nice and bronzed.  So I thought it would be perfect for spring and to warm us all up. If you want to check out Anna's blog click  here  (her blog is obviously in Norwegian so you'll have to press the translate button). I searched her blog and tried to use the same products that she does. Let's get started on her makeup look! Face: 1. Start with your favourite face primer. Jessie's Picks: Too Faced Primed and Poreless Skin Smoothing Primer. Korres Greek Yoghurt Face Primer. 2. Next apply your concealer underneath your eyes and on any blemishes. Jessie's Picks: Mac Moisturecover Concealer. TheBalm Time Balm Concealer. 3. On a big fluffy face brush buff a matte powder foundation all over your face and down your neck. Makeup Monday: Victoria Beckham Makeup Look

Victoria Beckham is a style icon, and personally one of my top fashion and beauty inspirations. Her fashion line boasts beautiful structure and lines. One half of Britain's "other royal family" Victoria rules the fashion world with an iron fist, having recently launched another successful denim and accessories line. Her makeup hasn't changed much from her Posh Spice days, it has only become more chic and polished. Her signature smokey eye and nude lip can be adapted for any event, outfit, day or night. Here is a lighter daytime version of her signature look that Victoria has been sporting more and more often. Face: 1. Victoria has oily skin so a primer is a must. Pop a little all over your face, making sure to blend down your neck. Jessie's Pick: Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer 2. Smooth a cream foundation over your face, blending it down your neck. Jessie's Picks: Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Foundation or Rimmel Match Perfection Cream Foundation. 3. Dot
