Sweets Sunday: Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Cupcakes

Today marked the start of the holiday baking! My brother and made these delicious chocolate chip cheesecake filled cupcakes. I even found cute and glamourous cupcake tins although they aren't very festive. My family love cheesecake and sweets/baked goods in general so naturally these were a hit. I myself am not that much a of a sweets person, I personally prefer more salty snacks, but I have to admit that I have already eaten 2 of these, and had to really flex my self control not to have another. This recipe is from bettycrocker.com and you can find it here .  Let me know if you bake these delicious cupcakes with the hashtag #sweetssunday.  Hope you and your family are having a restful Sunday! xo Jess Twitter: @jessicadonna_ Youtube: Jessica Kinnari Instagram: jessicakinnari

Makeup Monday: Berry Lip and Glowing Skin Makeup

Hello everyone! Welcome to Makeup Monday, it is time to break out your berry lip shades as we are going to create and ethereal and earthy makeup look. The focus is on glowing skin and deep berry stained lips. Face: 1. Start off with a moderate to full coverage foundation and apply it with your favourite foundation brush. We want the skin to be as flawless as possible. I used Clinique Even Better Makeup in Golden Neutral, and applied it with a Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.  2. Contour the face using a matte bronzer and an angled brush. Focus on contouring underneath the cheekbones, then lightly contour the sides of your forehead and under your jaw. I used the bronzer shade from the Elf Contouring Blush and Bronzer duo in St Lucia .  3. Next pick a shimmery peach blush and using a big, fluffy face brush dust it onto the apples of your cheeks and blend upwards.Look for a very shimmery and light blush as this will enhance your glow and keep with the natu...

Fashion Friday: Rainy Day Jeans and Plaid Shirt

Hello everyone! Today's Fashion Friday is another outfit of the day. Today was very grey and a little rainy so I wanted to wear something that didn't take tons if brain power to come up with. I chose classic dark wash skinny jeans and a plaid button up. This button up is tailored at the back which makes it more feminine and flattering, and all I did was roll up the sleeves to make it less "dowdy" looking. My jeans are from American Eagle, the top is from Stitches, and I just wore my "cheapies" from Walmart. "Cheapies"= cheap comfy shoes. On my lips I'm wearing Revlon Soft Nude, and on my nails I have Sally Hanson Red Carpet nail colour.  On another note: I reached 10 subscribers on YouTube! And that just made my day, thank you so much and if you haven't subscribed make sure you do because there will be a giveaway once I reach 100 subscribers. If you click on the video link at the bottom of the post it will whisk you away to ...

GRWM: Natural Daytime Makeup

Hello Everyone! Today's makeup look is a soft natural daytime look. This look is perfect for everyday as it is glowy and fresh with nothing too heavy. This is my go to makeup look recently as I love me a glowy bronze natural look.  Face: 1. Start off by applying a tinted moisturizer or bb cream to your face and blend outwards using your fingers. This will create a nice dewy, sheer finish. I used Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in Medium/Deep.  2. Next dab a highlighting concealer underneath your eyes in a v shape, around you nose, and onto you chin. Blend this with a dense concealer brush. I used Rimmel 2 in 1 Match Perfection Concealer in Light/ Medium 3. Take a bronzing powder on an angled brush and contour your face. Brush it under your cheekbones, sides of your forehead, and underneath your jawline. I used ELF Contour Bronzer in St Lucia. 4. Beauty on a Budget: Best Drugstore Pink Lipsticks

From Left to Right: L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in 165 Tickled Pink, Covergirl Lipstick in 445 Pink Chic, Rimmel Airy Fairy, Maybelline 015 Born With It Hello Everyone! Today's Beauty on a Budget is all about pink lipstick. These four lipsticks are my absolute favourite, and as each is a different shade and finish there is something for everyone.  L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in 165 Tickled Pink.  This is a super bright, frosty pink. It has a creamy texture and great lasting power. Beacuse it has such a frosted finish this lipstick isn't to everyone tastes but it suits most skin tones and can be worn with a lot of other colours. Covergirl Lipstick in 445 Pink Chic.  Another frosty pink, this lipstick might not even be available anymore. It is a cool pink, a very baby pink shade with a silvery glitter. This one has a drier formula and semi-matte finish (besides all the glitter). It goes great with cool colours, and works for both summer and winter.  ...

Everyday Natural Makeup Routine Using Urban Decay Naked Palette

Hello everyone! Today's makeup look is a neutral everyday look that only uses the Urban Decay Naked Palette. It is so much easier to recreate looks, or just lighter to travel with if you only have to use one palette. This eye makeup is actually one of my favourites and I wear it a lot during the school year.  Let's get started! Base: 1. Starting off with freshly washed and moisturized skin, smooth a BB Cream or tinted moisturizer all over your face starting from the centre of the face blending outwards. I used Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in Medium/Deep.  2. Next take a concealer and apply it in a v shape underneath your eyes as well as around your nose. Take a fluffy brush (or you can use your fingers) and blend out the concealer. I used Rimmel Match Perfection 2 in 1 Concealer in Light/Medium.  3. Using a big and fluffy face brush dust your face with a setting powder to mattify the skin. I used Mac Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in C4.  ...

"Feeling Sick" Day Makeup

Hi everyone! Today's makeup look is for those days when you aren't feeling to well and you want to apply some makeup to help you look (and sometimes feel) better. I think that on days like this it is super important to use products that you know and love. This will help prevent any frustration or added annoyance when applying your makeup because you will know how each item "behaves". For this look I used minimal eye makeup as well as multitasking face products that way you don't feel like you have a thick layer of foundation lying on top of your skin.  Skin/Base: 1. Before I started I applied a mattifying moisturizer, and a thick lip salve to prep my skin and lips.  2. Starting off I applied Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream in Light/Medium to my face and blended it out with my fingers. Your fingers are the best blenders and give you a sheer controlled coverage. This product can act as your primer, concealer and tinted moisturizer.  3. Next I take m...

Makeup Monday: Country Vacation Makeup

Hello Everyone! Welcome to Makeup Monday. Today’s makeup look is a simple nude makeup which reminds me of a vacation in the English countryside. It is inspired by earth tones like mossy greens, beiges, mauves, and greys. This makeup is perfect if you are actually going on vacation in the English countryside, or if you just want to sport a fresh light makeup look. Face: 1. Start with a freshly washed and moisturized face. Directly on top of your moisturizer apply a matte foundation. This will give you a natural looking face, without all of the powder. Jessie’s Picks: Clinique Stay Matte Oil Free Foundation. Maybelline 24hr Super Stay Makeup. 2. Take a cream blush in a rosy pink shade and blend it up along your cheekbone. Using a cream blush will give you more of a glow like you have just come in from the cold outside. Jessie’s Picks: Makeup Forever HD Blush in English Rose. Revlon Photoready Cream Blush in Flushed. That’s the face done! If you’d like you can dab a sh...
