Everyday Natural Makeup Routine Using Urban Decay Naked Palette

Hello everyone! Today's makeup look is a neutral everyday look that only uses the Urban Decay Naked Palette. It is so much easier to recreate looks, or just lighter to travel with if you only have to use one palette. This eye makeup is actually one of my favourites and I wear it a lot during the school year.

Let's get started!
Base:
1. Starting off with freshly washed and moisturized skin, smooth a BB Cream or tinted moisturizer all over your face starting from the centre of the face blending outwards. I used Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in Medium/Deep.

2. Next take a concealer and apply it in a v shape underneath your eyes as well as around your nose. Take a fluffy brush (or you can use your fingers) and blend out the concealer. I used Rimmel Match Perfection 2 in 1 Concealer in Light/Medium.

3. Using a big and fluffy face brush dust your face with a setting powder to mattify the skin. I used Mac Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in C4.

4. Take a face brush or an angled brush and lightly contour your face using a matte bronzer. Apply the bronzer in the hollows of your cheeks, along the sides of your forehead, and underneath your jaw. I used Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer in Medium/Deep.

5. The using a blush brush apply a peachy pink blush to the apples of your cheeks and blend upwards along your cheekbones. I used Nars Orgasm.

6. Next apply a cream shimmery highlighter to the tops of your cheekbones.

Eyes:

1. Start by using an eye shadow primer to keep your eye shadow lasting and fresh all day. I used Urban Decay Primer Potion.

2. Fill in your eye brows using a brow pencil. Start by drawing light, feathery strokes in any sparse areas, and the brush through the brows to soften the lines. I used Beautique Brow Pencil in Soft Black.

3. Using a flat eye shadow brush apply a shimmery champagne eye shadow to your brow bone and the inner corners of your eye. I used Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Sin.

4. Flip over the brush and using the other side pat a shimmery taupe eye shadow all over your eye lid. I used Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Sidecar.

5. On a fluffy crease brush blend a matte medium brow eye shadow through your crease, and drag it slightly up onto your brow bone. With the same colour on a flat shadow brush, run it along your lower lash line to add a little definition. I used Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Buck.

6. Take a brown eye liner pencil or retractable pencil and a line your upper and lower waterlines. Make sure to bring the liner right into the inner corner. I used Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in Hot Chocolate.

7.  Finally curl your eye lashes and apply a coat or two of a black volumizing mascara to your top and bottom lashes. I used Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes Mascara.

Lips:

1. Choose your favourite neutral mauve lipstick and apply to your lips. I used Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Blushing Mauve.

That is the completed look, if you would like to exactly how I did this look please watch the video below.

If you want to check out Anna's blog click  here  (her blog is obviously in Norwegian so you'll have to press the translate button). I searched her blog and tried to use the same products that she does. Let's get started on her makeup look! Face: 1. Start with your favourite face primer. Jessie's Picks: Too Faced Primed and Poreless Skin Smoothing Primer. Korres Greek Yoghurt Face Primer. 2. Next apply your concealer underneath your eyes and on any blemishes. Whatever Wednesdays: Victoria Beckham Hair How-To

Victoria Beckham Ponytail: With her long dark brown hair, Victoria Beckham's hairstyle of choice has become the ponytail. This style is quick, and ultra chic. 1. Start with day-old hair (or even if you are starting with freshly washed hair) and spritz with a volumizing dry shampoo. 2. Pull your hair back with your fingers, smoothing over any stray hairs. 3. Once you have your ponytail in the desired place, fasten with a hair tie. 4. Take your straightener and run it over the ends of your ponytail, to give it a sleek effect. 5. Add a tiny dot of shine serum to the ends. Simply rub the serum between your palms, and run your hands over the end of your ponytail. Voila! Tu es fini, and you have a simple and chic hairdo. xx JD Please leave me a comment let me know what you think!  If you have any questions or suggestions: Email me: jessicadonna96@gmail.com

Throwback Everyday Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone! If you know me, you'll know that I have a slight makeup problem... I have way too much! But I can't help it, I just love it so, and I honestly look forward to putting my makeup on every morning. So today I decided I would do a quick post on my fave go to glam look for daytime. It looks quite heavy, but because I'm using mineral makeup it feels like I'm wearing no face makeup at all! My skin is quite sensitive and dry, so for the longest time I thought that mineral makeup wouldn't work for my skin, but boy was I wrong! I was at Winners recently and saw that they had a couple Bellapierre Cosmetics mineral makeup sets on sale for $14... So I thought I'd try it out, and now I can never go back to regular liquid foundations! Mineral makeup is considered to be better for your skin as it is natural, and usually only contains 3-4 natural ingredients. Bellapierre foundation has an SPF of 15 which can cause a little bit of flashback, so if ...
