Today's OOTD features my new good friend- Mr. Umbrella. It has been raining a lot here recently, and the grey dreariness reflects my mood lately, so I ventured just outside my front door to quickly snap some outfit pictures. This outfit is very comfortable, and to be honest, I put my makeup on and got dressed at #pm just to take these pictures. My dress is from Forever 21, shoes are from Aldo, and on my lips is Mac's Velvet Teddy which is definitely a new favourite. It has been in my makeup bag for ages and I never really loved it. Welcome to my February favourites and my first favourites post of 2015! I actually didn't buy any beauty related items in February, so there are just products that I have had for a while and thought that it was about time I get my moneys worth. Favourites this month:  Nivea Creme- This is a super thick moisturizer, rumoured to be used by the Duchess of Cambridge, and it great if you have dry or dehydrated skin. Skin tends to lose its moisture in the winter, as well as during the changes of season. This moisturizer was $1.50 at Target, and you get quite a bit of product. A little goes a long way, it keeps your skin moisturized, and is a great base for makeup.  Revlon Colourstay Concealer in 02 Light- I picked this concealer up in 2 shades 02 Light and 04 Medium that way I don't have to purchase another concealer once I start to get a little more tan. Today's makeup look is a Prom eye makeup tutorial using the Naked Palette. I know a lot of proms have already happened, but there are still a bunch of proms coming up, including mine; so even if your prom has passed this is a great look for a special event or an evening out.  Step One: Start by priming your eyes with an eye shadow primer. Jessie's Picks : Urban Decay Primer Potion. Mac Prep and Prime.  Step Two: Using a flat eye shadow brush, take the colour Virgin  and apply it to your brow bone and the inner corners of your eye.  Step Three: Flip that brush over, and using the other side apply Toasted  all over your eye lid. On an eye liner brush run Toasted  along your lower lashline.  Step Four : Take a crease brush and apply Hustle  into your crease and drag it onto the outer corner of you lid. Hello everyone! I'm officially back from the land of pre-production mindlessness. Since I've been gone it has turned into May so it time to break out the pretty spring lip colours. I prefer nude lip colours all year round but especially during the spring and summer. So today's post is my favourite nude lipsticks. From L-R: Rimmel Kate Lip Stick 14, Rimmel Lasting Finish Lip Stick in Asia, Revlon  Super Lustrous Lip Stick in Blushing Mauve,Revlon Lip Butters in Creme Brulee and Pink Truffle, Mac Matte Lip Stick in Velvet Teddy. Rimmel Kate Lipstick Shade 14. This is a matte finish very pale nude lipstick. It works perfectly with a heavier smokey eye, and it lasts for ages. Hello Everyone! Sorry for my lack of posts, if you follow me on Twitter you will know I am the middle of production for a play right now, therefore I have no time for anything. That aside, today's post is just a quick spring haul. Last week my Mum and I popped into Stitches  for a browse and came out with all of this. First off, I got 15 pairs of socks for $5 (yes, you read that right). I got 2 packs of black and white patterns and one pack which is all vibrant neon coloured (not pictured). I got a very spring-esque peach, pink, and brown patterned scarf. This is so comfortable, soft, and warm; it goes perfectly with my jacket which is khaki green. I also grabbed some of their Aloe Makeup Remover Wipes. I picked up three cardigans, two which are two-toned (one black/grey the other beige/cream) as well as a peach coloured one. Welcome to my March Favourites 2014 Post! Unlike last month, which was mostly skin and hair care products, this month most of my favourites are beauty products. Only two of these products were actually purchased in the month of March, but they quickly became favourites. My first favourite is Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream , and I have this in the shade Light/Medium Tint. I have not worn foundation since January, instead I've been wearing this everyday. I read about it on Anna Saccone's blog and it is just a magnificent product. This is a gel based BB cream or tinted moisturizer. It has SPF 30 and creamy not too heavy texture. This provides a sheer coverage, however if you do have blemishes or acne scars, use this in conjunction with a heavy duty concealer like Vichy Dermablend or Maybelline Super Stay and it will provide a more natural looking base. You can apply this with your fingers or a brush, and if you have slightly oilier skin it blends beautifully with a powde...

Hello Everyone! Today's Style Sunday is this week's fashion inspiration lookbook. It is definitely supposed to be spring outside, but since it snowed about a foot last night, I'm going to be adding my winter cozies to all my spring clothes again.  Monday. It is supposed to be warm and sunny tomorrow but because it is going to be Monday I've turned to Mrs. Beckham for outfit inspiration as she always wears comfortable yet chic outfits. Not mention this one is all black which will suit my mood just fine. Tuesday. Hello lovelies! Welcome to Makeup Monday! Today's post is my much requested: Drugstore Makeup Must Haves. All of the products are tried and true and have been repurchased at least once. As you shall soon see my biggest drugstore loves are lip sticks. However I did narrow it down to just 6 "items". It's actually more but whatever! Who's counting? 1. Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream. This is what I have been wearing as foundation since January. I used it during the summer and than purchased it in a lighter shade and fell in love with it all over again. It can be applied with your fingers or a brush and gives a gorgeous sheer coverage with a glowy finish. This is not for you if you want a lot of coverage from your foundation but if you use a heavy concealer this product is great for layering over top. It never cakes, has an SPF 30 and is oil-free. I recently picked up a number of lip products as well a few nail polishes and I thought I would share them: These are the lip products I picked up . From L-R: Rimmel Lasting Finish in Asia, Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish in 14, Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish in 104, Revlon Super Lustrous in Blushing Mauve, Revlon Super Lustrous in Icy Violet, and Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in Too Cool. Rimmel Lasting Finish in Asia. This is a mauve/brown shade that is in between Airy Fairy and Paradise. I really like the formula and finishes of Rimmel lip sticks so I think this will be a great daily neutral lip colour. Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish in 14.  I have never tried the Kate Moss line so I thought I would try this shade. It is a nude/pink shade that has a matte finish.
