Beauty Thursday: My "Quick" Makeup Routine

If you follow me on Twitter, you will know that I am currently in the middle of the production process for a play. This involves long days, and long weeks. A number of people have asked me what I do on days when I feel tired but I still need to go to rehearsal and I want to look "fresh" so to speak. This is my super quick beauty routine that I have been turning to for the past few weeks.

Face:

1.I start by applying Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream all over my face and down my neck. I apply this using my fingers, and I am currently wearing it in the shade Light/Medium.

2. Next I grab my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer and I lightly contour my jaw, under my cheekbones, and sides of my forehead.

3. I then choose a gingery/peachy coloured blush and I apply that along my cheekbones, blending upwards.

4. I take my Almay CC Concealer and Brightener Duo, and going in with the concealer. I apply it under my eyes and around my nose. This is a very sheer formula which is perfect for me because I don't really have too bad undereye circles, just a little redness.

5. Then I take the brightener from the same duo and I apply that onto my browbone, down my nose, and along the tops of my cheekbones.

Eyes:
1. I fill in my brows with a waxy eye brow pencil and then brush them through with a spoolie.

2. Next I curl my lashes, and sometimes I will apply mascara, but if it is going to be a very long day, I just skip eye makeup all together.

Lips:

1. For my lips I grab one of my Revlon Lip Butters and apply it starting from the centre of my lip outwards.

That's it! This literally takes 5 minutes and it lasts all day long. I hope you enjoyed this makeup look and if you are ever super busy I encourage you to try it and let me know what you think!

xx

New Year's Eve is the perfect day/night to sport sparkling silver eye makeup, and who better to look to than Kim Kardashian. Eyes: 1. Prep your eye with a base. Fab February: Anna Edwin Makeup

Anna Edwin is a Norwegian blogger. She began her blog in 2009 and she blogs about everything from hair to bowling (well maybe not actually bowling). I searched her blog and tried to use the same products that she does. Let's get started on her makeup look! Face: 1. Start with your favourite face primer. Makeup Monday: Victoria Beckham Makeup Look

Victoria Beckham is a style icon, and personally one of my top fashion and beauty inspirations. Her fashion line boasts beautiful structure and lines. One half of Britain's "other royal family" Victoria rules the fashion world with an iron fist, having recently launched another successful denim and accessories line. Her makeup hasn't changed much from her Posh Spice days, it has only become more chic and polished. Her signature smokey eye and nude lip can be adapted for any event, outfit, day or night. Here is a lighter daytime version of her signature look that Victoria has been sporting more and more often. Face: 1. Victoria has oily skin so a primer is a must. Pop a little all over your face, making sure to blend down your neck. Jessie's Pick: Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer 2. Smooth a cream foundation over your face, blending it down your neck. Jessie's Picks: Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Foundation or Rimmel Match Perfection Cream Foundation. 3. Dot
