Welcome to Super Sunday the Spring Edition.  These are the current products in my makeup bag. There are always many different items that are in and out of my bag, but these are the ones that I have been using everyday for the past month.  Avon Perfect Look Color Palette in Cool. This palette comes with four lip colours, four eye shadows, two blushes, and a powder. All of them are for cool toned skin and so are super flattering. I just use the powder from this palette but I like having it around because it gives me options.  Avon Colour Fold Up Palette . I use the darkest blush from this palette, it is a shimmery peachy pink shade. Again another huge palette that contains lots of bright eye  shadows perfect for spring.  Clinique Choco-Latte Eye Shadow Quad . I use the darkest colour from this quad for my brows. Today's Fab February is the final part of my spring series as well as a mini haul. My favourite makeup look for spring is light eyes with a bright lip. Keep your face and eye makeup light with just a tinted moisturizer, a champagne eye shadow, and a nice rosy blush. After you've done that pop on a bright lip and enjoy the sunshine. Now on to the haul. Here are some bright sheer lipsticks that I picked up the other day: \ 1. Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Sugar Plum, Pink Truffle, and Strawberry Shortcake . I love these lip butters! I already have Sugar Frosting and Creme Brulee which are perfect for winter, but I wanted some brighter colours for spring. Welcome to day three of Fab February. Today's makeup look is inspired by Kim Kardashians' bridal shower makeup. Yes, I know that her marriage only lasted 72 days but that was almost 3 years ago and her bridal shower makeup is still gorgeous 3 years later. So why not do a pretty makeup in the midst of cold and blustery February. This makeup look has a nice flawless base, warm eyes, and sweet pink lips. Face: 1. Start with a moisturizing primer and blend it all over your face with your fingers or a brush. I have had a number of requests for this post, and I thought now would be a good time to do it since a lot of people are going away on the weekends or on holiday. Most of these products are just in my everyday makeup bag, but a lot of them I have in a travel size, to make them more convenient to carry. By no means are there fewer products, I tend to bring things "just in case" which leads to a lot of unnecessary items being brought along.  So this is what I pack when I am just going to visit family, or whatever, but they can be tapered to wherever you are going whether it is hot or cold there. It is currently rainy and cold in Canada, so let's pretend we're going away on a nice ski weekend, to sip hot chocolate and watch all the skiers go down the hill. Pictures to come! 1. I bought this product back in early August, and because it super cold all over North America, I thought I would write a review now to warm everyone up. This is a liquid-creme illuminator, and I have it in the shade Topaz which is a goldy-bronze. It is perfect as an all over face primer, or just as a liquid bronzer. It has an SPF25++ which is amazing in the summer. Since Becca is Australian, the SPF is a lot truer than in America, so it is great as a makeup base. I have worn this product for about 2 months,  and I have to say I love it! I love the consistency, it does not cause me to break-out, and it lasts all day. It also has almost like a blurring effect, that blurs all your pores and imperfections. It does not cause me to get oily throughout the day. The only downside I can find is that it has a rather strong smell, but even that is bearable, and does not affect the product. This is definitely a must have for me, and worth the splurge! xx JD

When I was in Bed, Bath, and Beyond the other day, I picked up a cosmetic organizer. It is from U.S Acrylic, and it is the large version with removable lipstick holder.  This is what it looks like as a whole, it has lots of different places to keep things, and it holds most standard size cosmetic palettes. First is the lip stick holder, which I put beside the organizer to create even more storage room. It holds 12 lip sticks, and so I have my favourite 12 arranged in order of preference.  The left side has 3 sections that get deeper as you go back. In the front section I keep some of my smaller eye shadow palettes, like my Mac, Tarte,  and Clinique. I also keep my Paint Pots here. In the section behind I keep all of my setting powders, bronzers, and blushers. In the final section is where I keep all of my foundations that I am not using. So I have my Mac Studio Tech and Studio Fix, etc. I also keep here my cream concealers, and liquid bronzer.  ...

New Year's Eve is the perfect day/night to sport sparkling silver eye makeup, and who better to look to than Kim Kardashian. Eyes: 1. Prep your eye with a base. Be it a cream shadow, a paint pot, or an actual eye shadow primer, it does not matter, it just gives the  eye shadow  and glitter something to adhere to. Jessie's Picks: Urban Decay Primer Potion. Hey guys! Sorry my blogmas kind of dwindled away, but I was really sick for the last week. SO I am now hopefully getting back into blogging regularly. So here's what I got (that it beauty related) for Christmas 2013: 1. Urban Decay Naked Palette. I'm a little late jumping on this band wagon, however I have heard so many amazing things about this palette that I am super excited to try it. My first impressions are that the eye shadows are very pigmented. 2. Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Intense Black . This is the only liquid eye liner that I can use, and Stila does not irritate my eyes, or smudge, and it is the perfect shade of black. 3. Too Faced Beauty Blogger Darlings . This is the cutest gift set! The bronzer is so matte and smells like chocolate. I will do a review of all of the products in the set once I have used them all up. 4. Giorgio Armani Aqua di Gioia . My daily makeup look is quick, and simple (in my opinion) and it leaves me looking polished and feeling confident. It is a little bit Jessica Alba, a little bit Miranda Kerr, and a little bit Anna Saccone. Alright so here we go: Face: 1. I start with my Hourglass No 28 Primer Serum and I smooth it on with my clean fingers. I then go and do my hair to give it time to sink into my skin. 2. Then on a Real Techniques Buffing Brush, I take my Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, and I buff that all over my face, over my ears, and down my neck. 3. Under my eyes, I then blend my Clinique  Airbrush Concealer using my ring finger. I then pat my Maybelline 24hr Super Stay Concealer over any blemishes or acne scars that are still visible through my foundation. 4.  On an angled blush brush I contour my face using my Rimmel bronzer. 5. Kim Kardashian's makeup is far from minimalistic, however her contouring and highlighting techniques are with trying out. Here are the steps to getting a defined face like Kimmy- K: Step 1: Apply a much lighter concealer or cream foundation under your eyes in a triangle shape, along the cheekbone, down the bridge of your nose, on your chin and in the centre of your forehead. Step 2: Apply a much darker cream foundation or concealer in the hollows of your cheeks, along your jawline, the sides of your nose and on the sides of your forehead. Step 3: Take a light foundation in your proper shade, and use it to blend the other foundations. This will create a uniform base, but with less harsh highlighting and contouring. Step 4: Blend away any harsh lines or visible product. Continue with your makeup as normal! This contouring will give you an oval looking face, but without any heavy powders. This is the secret to flawless Hollywood skin.
