Makeup Storage and Organization

When I was in Bed, Bath, and Beyond the other day, I picked up a cosmetic organizer. It is from U.S Acrylic, and it is the large version with removable lipstick holder.
This is what it looks like as a whole, it has lots of different places to keep things, and it holds most standard size cosmetic palettes.

First is the lip stick holder, which I put beside the organizer to create even more storage room. It holds 12 lip sticks, and so I have my favourite 12 arranged in order of preference.

The left side has 3 sections that get deeper as you go back. In the front section I keep some of my smaller eye shadow palettes, like my Mac, Tarte,  and Clinique. I also keep my Paint Pots here. In the section behind I keep all of my setting powders, bronzers, and blushers. In the final section is where I keep all of my foundations that I am not using. So I have my Mac Studio Tech and Studio Fix, etc. I also keep here my cream concealers, and liquid bronzer.

This section has 4 "holders" at the back where I keep my brushes, eyeliners, and mascaras. Beside that they're is a another space where I keep all of my foundations, and primers that I am wearing right now. and in the front section is just miscellaneous items like cream highlights and contours, gel eye liner, eye shadow primer, and the little samples from the Too Faced Beauty Blogger set.

Behind my organizer I just have a postcard that I got while in London, I like it and I think it looks cute. I have just gotten this organizer so I will do an update in a few months time and let you know if there are any issues. One I foresee is that because it is clear, it is going to get very dusty and dirty and it may be a hassle to clean, but we shall see. Hope you enjoyed this post, and I encourage you to check out Bed, Bath, and Beyond 'cause they have some pretty neat and useful items.

Fab February: Anna Edwin Makeup

Anna Edwin is a Norwegian blogger. She began her blog in 2009 and she blogs about everything from hair to bowling (well maybe not actually bowling). If you want to check out Anna's blog click  here  (her blog is obviously in Norwegian so you'll have to press the translate button). I searched her blog and tried to use the same products that she does. Let's get started on her makeup look! Face: 1. Start with your favourite face primer. Makeup Monday: Victoria Beckham Makeup Look

Victoria Beckham is a style icon, and personally one of my top fashion and beauty inspirations. Her fashion line boasts beautiful structure and lines. One half of Britain's "other royal family" Victoria rules the fashion world with an iron fist, having recently launched another successful denim and accessories line. Her makeup hasn't changed much from her Posh Spice days, it has only become more chic and polished. Her signature smokey eye and nude lip can be adapted for any event, outfit, day or night. Here is a lighter daytime version of her signature look that Victoria has been sporting more and more often. Face: 1. Victoria has oily skin so a primer is a must. Pop a little all over your face, making sure to blend down your neck. Jessie's Pick: Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer 2. Smooth a cream foundation over your face, blending it down your neck. Jessie's Picks: Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Foundation or Rimmel Match Perfection Cream Foundation. 3. Dot
