Makeup Storage and Organization

When I was in Bed, Bath, and Beyond the other day, I picked up a cosmetic organizer. It is from U.S Acrylic, and it is the large version with removable lipstick holder.
This is what it looks like as a whole, it has lots of different places to keep things, and it holds most standard size cosmetic palettes.

First is the lip stick holder, which I put beside the organizer to create even more storage room. It holds 12 lip sticks, and so I have my favourite 12 arranged in order of preference.

The left side has 3 sections that get deeper as you go back. In the front section I keep some of my smaller eye shadow palettes, like my Mac, Tarte,  and Clinique. I also keep my Paint Pots here. In the section behind I keep all of my setting powders, bronzers, and blushers. In the final section is where I keep all of my foundations that I am not using. So I have my Mac Studio Tech and Studio Fix, etc. I also keep here my cream concealers, and liquid bronzer.

This section has 4 "holders" at the back where I keep my brushes, eyeliners, and mascaras. Beside that they're is a another space where I keep all of my foundations, and primers that I am wearing right now. and in the front section is just miscellaneous items like cream highlights and contours, gel eye liner, eye shadow primer, and the little samples from the Too Faced Beauty Blogger set.

Behind my organizer I just have a postcard that I got while in London, I like it and I think it looks cute. I have just gotten this organizer so I will do an update in a few months time and let you know if there are any issues. One I foresee is that because it is clear, it is going to get very dusty and dirty and it may be a hassle to clean, but we shall see. Hope you enjoyed this post, and I encourage you to check out Bed, Bath, and Beyond 'cause they have some pretty neat and useful items.

Fab February: Makeup Wishlist/To-Do List for 2014

For today's Fab February post I thought I would post my makeup wishlist in honour of "Wishful Wednesday".... Yes, I just made that up.... Basically this post is of all the beauty related products that I would like to purchase or try in 2014. Kind of an odd post, but I have read a number of posts like this and I have always found them a useful forum. So if you have tried any of these products or have products that you want to try out in 2014 feel free to comment! 1. Nars Laguna Bronzing Powder . I have heard so much about this bronzer and I think that after my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer runs out this will be my next bronzer purchase. 2. Clinique Cheek Pop Blush in Plum Pop. I have a feeling this blush is going to become my go to for the spring and summer. It looks like a grogeous plum shade which would be perfect for my light-medium cool toned complexion. 3.
