I was on Pinterest earlier today and I got lost in all of the pictures of models with top knots and bright lips, and so I was inspired to recreate their look. It is clean, and simple skin and eyes with a pop of bright on the lips. I love this look for the upcoming dreary winter days. It'll be a quick and gorgeous option when you want to sleep in a little more.
Face:
1. Start with a creamy tinted moisturizer, and blend it well into your skin, making sure to bring it down your neck. Jessie's Picks: Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer.
2. Dust your face with a powder to lock in your tinted moisturizer, and prevent any unwanted shine. Jessie's Picks: Clinique Stay Matte Pressed Powder. Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder.
3. Blend a peach cream blush along your cheekbones. Jessie's Picks: Stila Covertable Color in Gladiola. Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Peach Satin.
Eyes:
1. Fill in your eyebrows with a brow shadow, or tinted brow gel. The bolder the better. Jessie's Picks: Benefit Speed Brow. Clinique Brow Shaper.
2. Apply a wash of champagne toned eye shadow across your lid. Jessie's Picks: Mac Eye Shadow in Brule. Bare Minerals Eye colour in Pebble.
3. Blend a matte brown eye shadow through your crease, and on the outer corner of your eyelid. Jessie's Picks: Mac Eye Shadow in Wedge. Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Buck.
4. Curl your eye lashes and apply 2 coats of a dark brown or black lengthening mascara. Jessie's Picks: Maybelline Illegal Lengths Mascara. Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Mascara.
Lips:
1. Line your lips with a lip liner that is the same shade as you're bright lip stick. Or if you only want to buy one lip liner buy a clear lip liner. Jessie's Picks: Make Up For Ever Lip Line Perfector. Urban Decat 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Ozone.
2. Fill in your lips with your lip stick of choice, blot, dust with pressed powder, and repeat. Jessie's Picks: Clinique Long Last Lip Stick in All Heart. Yves Rocher Lip Stick in R 101. CoverGirl OutLast Lip Stick in Enchantress. Revlon Colourburst Lip Stick in Crimson. Yves Rocher Sheer and Shine Lip Stick in No 1.
