And none of the choices have to be expensive, all of the lip colours pictured are from the drugstore yet are still fantastic quality and have great pigmentation.  The many different (and cheaper) options can help try out all sorts of different colours, and formulas. Today's makeup look is inspired by all the cosy Winter knits. It is soft, gold, and glowing, kind of like firelight. The eyes are a shimmery soft gold and champagne, paired with peachy gold cheeks, and lips. Face: 1. Start with a moisturizing face primer, and using a flat foundation brush blend it all over your face. Try: Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer or Smashbox Photo Finish Hydrating Foundation Primer. 2. Using the same brush blend a tinted moisturizer into your skin, making sure to bring it down the next. By using more hydrating base products it will protect your skin from all the harsh drying elements of winter. If you don't have a tinted moisturizer simple mix a little bit of your face moisturizer into your foundation or concealer. Today's Beauty on a Budget is all about pink lipstick. These four lipsticks are my absolute favourite, and as each is a different shade and finish there is something for everyone.  L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in 165 Tickled Pink.  This is a super bright, frosty pink. It has a creamy texture and great lasting power. Beacuse it has such a frosted finish this lipstick isn't to everyone tastes but it suits most skin tones and can be worn with a lot of other colours. Covergirl Lipstick in 445 Pink Chic.  Another frosty pink, this lipstick might not even be available anymore. It is a cool pink, a very baby pink shade with a silvery glitter. This one has a drier formula and semi-matte finish (besides all the glitter). It goes great with cool colours, and works for both summer and winter.  ...

Welcome the Week of Favourites! Kicking off my favourites lists are my favourite bright lip colours for spring. This is one of my favourite trends and makes for a super fast and easy morning beauty routine.  Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains in Audacious and Lovesick. These balm stains are perfection! They are highly pigmented and very moisturising. The colour lasts all day and if you feel like you need a touch up the crayon style allows you to apply with ease and evenly with or without a mirror.  Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Siren. If can't already tell I am currently on an orange lip kick. This formula has a creamy texture and a creme finish. It layers well and has great lasting power. Hello everyone! I'm officially back from the land of pre-production mindlessness. Since I've been gone it has turned into May so it time to break out the pretty spring lip colours. I prefer nude lip colours all year round but especially during the spring and summer. So today's post is my favourite nude lipsticks. Rimmel Kate Lipstick Shade 14. This is a matte finish very pale nude lipstick. It works perfectly with a heavier smokey eye, and it lasts for ages. Hello! Welcome to Style Saturday. As you can tell from the title this is not a fashion style post but a makeup-style post. I recently picked up a number of lip products as well a few nail polishes and I thought I would share them: These are the lip products I picked up . From L-R: Rimmel Lasting Finish in Asia, Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish in 14, Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish in 104, Revlon Super Lustrous in Blushing Mauve, Revlon Super Lustrous in Icy Violet, and Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in Too Cool. Rimmel Lasting Finish in Asia. This is a mauve/brown shade that is in between Airy Fairy and Paradise. I really like the formula and finishes of Rimmel lip sticks so I think this will be a great daily neutral lip colour. Today's Fab February is the final part of my spring series as well as a mini haul. My favourite makeup look for spring is light eyes with a bright lip. Keep your face and eye makeup light with just a tinted moisturizer, a champagne eye shadow, and a nice rosy blush. After you've done that pop on a bright lip and enjoy the sunshine. Now on to the haul. Here are some bright sheer lipsticks that I picked up the other day: \ 1. Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Sugar Plum, Pink Truffle, and Strawberry Shortcake . For about the past month I have been wearing the same eye and face makeup everyday, and I have really liked having the same everyday routine. For me there has been something very calming and reassuring about doing the same thing every morning. However I am still a lover of change and so I have been using different lip sticks depending on my mood (which I think a lot of people do?) and there are about 5 that I turn to on various days. 1. Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee and Sugar Frosting. I love these lip butters for the days when I don't feel like making the commitment to lip stick and I just want something that gives my lips a bit of colour and finishes off my makeup. Creme Brulee is a nude brown shade that almost blanks out your lips, but in a good nude lip kind of way (great description I know). I was on Pinterest earlier today and I got  lost in all of the pictures of models with top knots and bright lips, and so I was inspired to recreate their look. It is clean, and simple skin and eyes with a pop of bright on the lips. I love this look for the upcoming dreary winter days. This is going to be the first post a series about the best products from different brands both drugstore as well as high-end/department store. So first let's start off with Mac! This brand is definitely one my favourite makeup brands, but only for a few select products. In no  particular order these are my favourite products by Mac: 1. Mac Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. I have this in the shade C4, and I use it all summer long. This powder foundation can give you anywhere from sheer to full coverage. I find that I can pile it on and not look cakey, it won't wear off throughout the day, and if I spritz it with Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, it just looks like skin. Amazing, amazing product! 2.   Mac Studio Tech Foundation . This is an amazing foundation to wear if you are being photographed, or if you are looking for a cream to powder foundation that blends like a dream. This is a medium coverage foundation, and it covers most acne scars, dark marks, and spots....

Happy New Year! Another year has gone by, and that means another (or my first!) beauty favourites post. Here are my beauty favourites of 2013:            1.  Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee.  I love this product as an everyday lip colour, it is creamy and quick to use.                 2.  Rimmel's Paradise and Airy Fairy; Mac Velvet Teddy; Revlon Siren . All of these lip sticks are called upon time and time again and they never fail me. The first three are the perfect neutrals, and Siren is my favourite special occasion lip stick.
