Current Favourite Lipsticks.... and Big Announcement!

For about the past month I have been wearing the same eye and face makeup everyday, and I have really liked having the same everyday routine. For me there has been something very calming and reassuring about doing the same thing every morning. However I am still a lover of change and so I have been using different lip sticks depending on my mood (which I think a lot of people do?) and there are about 5 that I turn to on various days.

1. Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee and Sugar Frosting. I love these lip butters for the days when I don't feel like making the commitment to lip stick and I just want something that gives my lips a bit of colour and finishes off my makeup. Creme Brulee is a nude brown shade that almost blanks out your lips, but in a good nude lip kind of way (great description I know). Sugar Frosting is a cool toned sheer frosty pink and is basically like a "your lips but better" colour. Both are very hydrating and creamy and can be applied without a mirror.

2. Rimmel Lasting Finish Lip Stick in Airy Fairy and Paradise. The formula of these lip sticks is so nice. It goes on very smooth and creamy and has a nice lasting finish (see what I did there?). Airy Fairy is a cool-toned pink that has a cream finish and lasts all day. Paradise a more shimmery nude mauve shade, and this looks so nice on olive and cool toned skin. It makes your teeth look so white and is flattering all year round.

3. Mac Matte Lip Stick in Velvet Teddy. When I want to go for a full out need to touch up lip stick this is my pick. It is a matte taupe shade that looks flattering on all skin tones, you just have to make sure that you exfoliate and moisturize your lips properly before you apply this. Because it is matte it lasts a long time and you can also use it to create an ombre look.

Today I just bought Revlon's Love That Red lip stick, and hopefully it will live up to all its good reviews.

AND my big announcement is... That I will be posting a new blog post everyday for the month of February and it's going to be called : Fab February!

Summer Lace OOTD and Natural Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone! Today's OOTD is my favourite summer look. Lace, loose waves, and a natural makeup look. It was nice and warm today so I brought out one of my favourite dresses. It is from American Eagle, and was given to me by one of my friends a few years ago. I like that it is strapless as when I am outside enjoying the sunshine I don't have to worry about awkward tan lines! I went with a natural and glowing makeup look today, and I even filmed it for you! You can watch the video below. It is inspired by the gorgeous Gigi Hadid. xx Jess Instagram: jessicakinnari
