Makeup Monday: Lily Aldridge Makeup

Lily Aldridge- perfect style, perfect hair, flawless makeup...
Lily Aldridge is a gorgeous model, and after having a not so great day I thought I'd do a model makeup look. This a fresh and bronzed makeup look, so if you can fake tan the night before or just tailor it to your skintone.

Face:
1. Apply a gel or liquid bronzer all over your face as a base. Jessie's Picks: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector SPF 25++ in Topaz. Laura Mercier Foundation Primer in Radiance Bronze.

2. Using a brush add some tinted moisturizer all over your face and down your neck. Jessie's Picks:  Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream SPF 30 in Medium. Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 in Shade 04.

3. Contour your face using matte bronzing powder. Apply it under your cheekbones, on the sides of your forehead, and under your jaw. Jessie's Picks: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder.

4. Apply a bronzey-rose cream blush to your cheekbones and blend upwards. Jessie's Picks: Elizabeth Arden Cream Ceramide Blush in Honey. Make Up For Ever HD Blush in Rosewood.

Eyes:
1. Using a fluffy eye shadow brush buff a light matte brown eye shadow all over your eye lid. Jessie's Picks: Mac Eye Shadow in Wedge. Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Naked.

2. Take a black felt tip liquid eye liner pen and line your upper lash line, but don't wing it out or create a flick. Jessie's Picks: Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Eye Liner Pen. Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eye Liner.

3. Dab a shimmery white or silver eye shadow into the inner corner of your eyes. Jessie's Picks: Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Zephyr. Stila Eye Shadow in Cloud.

4. Curl your eye lashes and apply one coat of a black lengthening mascara. Jessie's Picks: Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Mascara. Maybelline Illegal Lengths Mascara.

5. Using a brow powder or eye shadow and a little angled brush fill in your eye brows.

Lips:
1. Apply a tinted lip balm in a pink shade. Jessie's Picks: Burts Bees Tinted Lip Balm.

Hope you all feel like a model tommorow!

xx

Anna Edwin is a Norwegian blogger. She began her blog in 2009 and she blogs about everything from hair to bowling (well maybe not actually bowling). Her hair and makeup is always flawless, nice and bronzed.  So I thought it would be perfect for spring and to warm us all up. If you want to check out Anna's blog click  here  (her blog is obviously in Norwegian so you'll have to press the translate button). I searched her blog and tried to use the same products that she does. Let's get started on her makeup look! Face: 1. Start with your favourite face primer. Jessie's Picks: Too Faced Primed and Poreless Skin Smoothing Primer. Korres Greek Yoghurt Face Primer. 2. Next apply your concealer underneath your eyes and on any blemishes. Jessie's Picks: Mac Moisturecover Concealer. TheBalm Time Balm Concealer. 3. On a big fluffy face brush buff a matte powder foundation all over your face and down your neck. Whatever Wednesdays: Victoria Beckham Hair How-To

Victoria Beckham Ponytail: With her long dark brown hair, Victoria Beckham's hairstyle of choice has become the ponytail. This style is quick, and ultra chic. 1. Start with day-old hair (or even if you are starting with freshly washed hair) and spritz with a volumizing dry shampoo. 2. Pull your hair back with your fingers, smoothing over any stray hairs. 3. Once you have your ponytail in the desired place, fasten with a hair tie. 4. Take your straightener and run it over the ends of your ponytail, to give it a sleek effect. 5. Add a tiny dot of shine serum to the ends. Simply rub the serum between your palms, and run your hands over the end of your ponytail. Voila! Tu es fini, and you have a simple and chic hairdo. xx JD Please leave me a comment let me know what you think!  If you have any questions or suggestions: Email me: jessicadonna96@gmail.com

Throwback Everyday Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone! If you know me, you'll know that I have a slight makeup problem... I have way too much! But I can't help it, I just love it so, and I honestly look forward to putting my makeup on every morning. So today I decided I would do a quick post on my fave go to glam look for daytime. It looks quite heavy, but because I'm using mineral makeup it feels like I'm wearing no face makeup at all! My skin is quite sensitive and dry, so for the longest time I thought that mineral makeup wouldn't work for my skin, but boy was I wrong! I was at Winners recently and saw that they had a couple Bellapierre Cosmetics mineral makeup sets on sale for $14... So I thought I'd try it out, and now I can never go back to regular liquid foundations! Mineral makeup is considered to be better for your skin as it is natural, and usually only contains 3-4 natural ingredients. Bellapierre foundation has an SPF of 15 which can cause a little bit of flashback, so if ...
