Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Campaign Makeup

I know it is and old campaign, but I have always loved the look. So, I decided I would write a quick (or maybe not so quick) tutorial about it. It's a glowing, bronze, summery look; which is everything I need right now since it has been getting quite cold where I live.

Face:
1. Start by mixing a bronze illuminator in with your foundation, a liquid bronzer works perfectly well if you don't have one. Preferably pick one that has SPF.  Jessie's Picks: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector SPF 25++ in Topaz. Clinique Even Better Foundation SPF 15.
2. If  you like you can now powder your face with a very fine finishing powder.  Jessie's Picks: Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. Make Up For Ever HD Powder

Eyes:
1. Apply a dark bronze cream eye shadow all over your eyelid. Then take a fluffy eye shadow brush, and blend the edges and the crease, softening all harsh edges. Jessie's Picks: Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in Fuller Fudge
2. Run a bit of the cream shadow along the lower lashline.
3. Take a dark brown eyeliner and line your top and bottom waterlines, making sure not to forget the inner corner. Jessie's Picks: Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Eye Pencil in Coffee
4. Take a cream coloured eye shadow and place it in the inner corner of the eye. Jessie's Picks: Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in Bountiful Beige
5. Apply volumizing mascara to the top and bottom lashes. Jessie's Picks: L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Excess.
6. For your eyebrows, brush them through with a spooly and lightly fill in any  sparse areas with a brow powder.

Lips:
1. Exfoliate your lips, and apply beeswax based lipbalm. Jessie's Picks: Lush Lip Scrub. Burt's Bees Lip Balm
2. Pat a matte or cream finish rose pink lip stick onto your lips, and smooth out with your finger.  Jessie's Picks: L'Oreal Clour Riche Lipstick in #165 Tickled Pink. Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lip Colour in True Pink.

Anna Edwin is a Norwegian blogger. She began her blog in 2009 and she blogs about everything from hair to bowling (well maybe not actually bowling). Her hair and makeup is always flawless, nice and bronzed.  So I thought it would be perfect for spring and to warm us all up. If you want to check out Anna's blog click  here  (her blog is obviously in Norwegian so you'll have to press the translate button). I searched her blog and tried to use the same products that she does. Let's get started on her makeup look! Face: 1. Start with your favourite face primer. Jessie's Picks: Too Faced Primed and Poreless Skin Smoothing Primer. Korres Greek Yoghurt Face Primer. 2. Next apply your concealer underneath your eyes and on any blemishes. Jessie's Picks: Mac Moisturecover Concealer. TheBalm Time Balm Concealer. 3. On a big fluffy face brush buff a matte powder foundation all over your face and down your neck. Whatever Wednesdays: Victoria Beckham Hair How-To

Victoria Beckham Ponytail: With her long dark brown hair, Victoria Beckham's hairstyle of choice has become the ponytail. This style is quick, and ultra chic. 1. Start with day-old hair (or even if you are starting with freshly washed hair) and spritz with a volumizing dry shampoo. 2. Pull your hair back with your fingers, smoothing over any stray hairs. 3. Once you have your ponytail in the desired place, fasten with a hair tie. 4. Take your straightener and run it over the ends of your ponytail, to give it a sleek effect. 5. Add a tiny dot of shine serum to the ends. Simply rub the serum between your palms, and run your hands over the end of your ponytail. Voila! Tu es fini, and you have a simple and chic hairdo. xx JD Please leave me a comment let me know what you think!  If you have any questions or suggestions: Email me: jessicadonna96@gmail.com

Throwback Everyday Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone! If you know me, you'll know that I have a slight makeup problem... I have way too much! But I can't help it, I just love it so, and I honestly look forward to putting my makeup on every morning. So today I decided I would do a quick post on my fave go to glam look for daytime. It looks quite heavy, but because I'm using mineral makeup it feels like I'm wearing no face makeup at all! My skin is quite sensitive and dry, so for the longest time I thought that mineral makeup wouldn't work for my skin, but boy was I wrong! I was at Winners recently and saw that they had a couple Bellapierre Cosmetics mineral makeup sets on sale for $14... So I thought I'd try it out, and now I can never go back to regular liquid foundations! Mineral makeup is considered to be better for your skin as it is natural, and usually only contains 3-4 natural ingredients. Bellapierre foundation has an SPF of 15 which can cause a little bit of flashback, so if ...
