Megan Fox Makeup Look

Pixiwoo.com - Sisters are doin' it for themselves: Tutorial

Today's makeup look is inspired by the lovely Megan Fox. It is a sweet daytime look that focuses on long lashes, defined brows, and stained lips. This is perfect for enhancing all of your features but does not make them compete for focus. So let's get started!

Face:
1. Start by taking a tinted moisturizer or BB cream and, using a foundation brush, blend it all over your face and down your neck. Using a foundation brush will help you get the most coverage out of the product. Jessie's Picks: Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream. Mac Studio Moisture Tint.

2. Using a matte bronzer and a fluffy face brush, dust the bronzer wherever the sun naturally hits your face. Make sure to also apply some down your neck to prevent tide marks. Jessie's Picks: Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer. Nars Laguna Bronzing Powder.

3. Blend a shimmery peach blush along your cheekbones, sweeping upwards. Jessie's Picks: Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Peach Satin. Yves Rocher Luminelle Blush in Rose Gourmandise.

4. Set your face using a translucent powder. Jessie's Picks: Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. Benefit Get Even Face Powder.

Eyes:
1. Apply a matte cream coloured eye shadow all over your eye lid. Jessie's Picks: Mac Eye Shadow in Brule. Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow in Bone.

2. On a crease brush, blend a medium matte brown through your crease, and pull up slightly onto your brow bone. Jessie's Picks: Mac Eye Shadow in Wedge. Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Buck.

3. Next take a shimmery champagne eye shadow and pop it into the inner corners of your eyes. Jessie's Picks: Mac Eye Shadow in Naked Lunch. Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Virgin.

4. Line your top lash line using a black liquid eye liner, lift the end to create a slight flick. Jessie's Picks: Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner Pen. Mac Liquid Eye Liner.

5. Curl your eye lashes and apply two coats of a black volumizing mascara. Jessie's Picks: CoverGirl Lash Blast Volume Mascara. Benefit Cosmetics BadGal Lash Mascara.

6. Take a brow a powder on a little angled brush and fill in any sparse areas of your brows. Jessie's Picks: Clinique Brow Powder. Benefit Brow Zings.

7. Set your eye brows with a tinted brow gel to lock them into place. Jessie's Picks: Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel. Benefit Speed Brow Tinted Brow Gel.

Lips:
1. Apply a lip stain in a berry shade to the centre of your lips and blend outwards. Jessie's Picks: Revlon Just Kissable Balm Stain in Honey or Crush. Revlon Lip Buttet in Pink Truffle.

Whatever Wednesdays: Victoria Beckham Hair How-To

Victoria Beckham Ponytail: With her long dark brown hair, Victoria Beckham's hairstyle of choice has become the ponytail. This style is quick, and ultra chic. 1. Start with day-old hair (or even if you are starting with freshly washed hair) and spritz with a volumizing dry shampoo. 2. Pull your hair back with your fingers, smoothing over any stray hairs. 3. Once you have your ponytail in the desired place, fasten with a hair tie. 4. Take your straightener and run it over the ends of your ponytail, to give it a sleek effect. 5. Add a tiny dot of shine serum to the ends. Simply rub the serum between your palms, and run your hands over the end of your ponytail. Voila! Tu es fini, and you have a simple and chic hairdo. xx JD Please leave me a comment let me know what you think!  If you have any questions or suggestions: Email me: jessicadonna96@gmail.com

Throwback Everyday Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone! If you know me, you'll know that I have a slight makeup problem... I have way too much! But I can't help it, I just love it so, and I honestly look forward to putting my makeup on every morning. So today I decided I would do a quick post on my fave go to glam look for daytime. It looks quite heavy, but because I'm using mineral makeup it feels like I'm wearing no face makeup at all! My skin is quite sensitive and dry, so for the longest time I thought that mineral makeup wouldn't work for my skin, but boy was I wrong! I was at Winners recently and saw that they had a couple Bellapierre Cosmetics mineral makeup sets on sale for $14... So I thought I'd try it out, and now I can never go back to regular liquid foundations! Mineral makeup is considered to be better for your skin as it is natural, and usually only contains 3-4 natural ingredients. Bellapierre foundation has an SPF of 15 which can cause a little bit of flashback, so if ...
