Blogmas Day 8: "No Makeup" Makeup

the "no makeup" makeup look... i need to learn how to master this...

The "No Makeup" makeup look is perfect for casual days when you want to to look polished but without looking like you are wearing a  full face of makeup.

Face:
1. Start with a light natural finish foundation or tinted moisturizer. Jessie's Picks: Guerlain Lingerie De Peau Invisible Skin Fusion Foundation SPF 20. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer.
2. Blend a cream blush in a pink shade along your cheekbones. Jessie's Picks: Stila Convertable Colour in Sweet Pea. Nars The Multiple in Riviera.

Eyes:
1. Take cream taupe eye shadow all over your eye lid. Jessie's Picks: Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in Lots'O Latte. Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe.
2. Tight line your upper lash line with a dark brown eye liner. Jessie's Picks: Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in Pearly Brown. Clinique Quickliner for Eyes in Black/Brown.
3. Curl your eye lashes and apply a coat of a black/brown mascara. Jessie's Picks: Givenchy Noir Couture 4 in 1 Mascara in Brown Satin. Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara in Black/Brown.
5. Brush up your eye brows and  if needed set with a clear brow gel.

Lips:
1. Swipe on a sheer tinted lip balm in a pink or nude shade. Jessie's Picks: Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brule. Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Shine in Corail Intuitive.

New Year's Eve Makeup: Kim Kardashian Style

New Year's Eve is the perfect day/night to sport sparkling silver eye makeup, and who better to look to than Kim Kardashian. Eyes: 1. Prep your eye with a base. Be it a cream shadow, a paint pot, or an actual eye shadow primer, it does not matter, it just gives the  eye shadow  and glitter something to adhere to. Jessie's Picks: Urban Decay Primer Potion.
