Fab February: Victoria's Secret Inspired Makeup

Victoria Secret's Makeup depends on a dewy bronzed skin , rosy nude lips and shimmery eyes with lush lashes www.beautydotfashionspot.blogspot.ca

This Monday Morning’s Fab February is the final chapter of my Victoria’s Secret Trilogy. Today we are focusing on makeup inspired by the above picture of Candice Swanepoel. It is dewy bronzed skin, clean eyes, and nude lips. So break out your liquid bronzers from the depths of your makeup bag and let’s get started.

Face:
  1. Starting with a clean and moisturized face, take a liquid bronzer and mix it with your tinted moisturizer. Pick up a buffing brush and buff it all over your face and neck. Jessie’s Picks: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Topaz.

  1. Take a highlighting concealer and apply it under your eyes in a triangle shape, down your nose, on your cupid’s bow, and onto the centre of your forehead. Blend out with your buffing brush. Jessie’s Picks: Maybelline Dream Touch Lumi Highlighting Concealer.

  1. Next pat a cream peach blush along your cheek bones and the apples of your cheeks. Make sure to blend away all harsh edges. Jessie’s Picks: Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Peach Satin.

  1. Dust your face with a luminous setting powder using a big fluffy face brush. Jessie’s Picks: Sleek Luminous Pressed Powder

Eyes:
  1. On a fluffy eye shadow brush blend a shimmery champagne coloured eye shadow all over your eye lid. Jessie’s Picks: Too Faced Eye Shadow in Porcelain. Mac Eye Shadow in Naked Lunch

  1. Blend a matte medium brown eye shadow through your crease to create definition. Jessie’s Picks: Mac Eye Shadow in Wedge. Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Buck.

  1. Next take a black liquid eye liner and apply a nice clean line across your top lashline. Jessie’s Picks: Mac Liquid Eye Liner in Black Boot

  1. Curl your lashes and apply 2 coats of a black lengthening mascara, if you want to you can also add false eye lashes. Jessie’s Picks: Maybelline Illegal Lengths Mascara.

Lips:
1. Start by lining your lips with a nude lip liner. Jessie’s Picks: Smashbox The Nude Liner Lip Liner.

2. Fill in your lips with a creamy nude lip stick. Jessie’s Picks: Mac Matte Lip Stick in Velvet Teddy. Revlon Colourburst Lip Stick in Soft Nude.

Voila! You are now runway ready! Pair this makeup with your hair and outfit and you will be turning heads all day long. Any ideas on what my next hair, fashion, and makeup series should be?

xx

New Year's Eve is the perfect day/night to sport sparkling silver eye makeup, and who better to look to than Kim Kardashian. Eyes: 1. Prep your eye with a base. If you want to check out Anna's blog click  here  (her blog is obviously in Norwegian so you'll have to press the translate button). Makeup Monday: Victoria Beckham Makeup Look

Victoria Beckham is a style icon, and personally one of my top fashion and beauty inspirations. Her fashion line boasts beautiful structure and lines. One half of Britain's "other royal family" Victoria rules the fashion world with an iron fist, having recently launched another successful denim and accessories line. Her makeup hasn't changed much from her Posh Spice days, it has only become more chic and polished. Her signature smokey eye and nude lip can be adapted for any event, outfit, day or night. Here is a lighter daytime version of her signature look that Victoria has been sporting more and more often. Face: 1. Victoria has oily skin so a primer is a must. Pop a little all over your face, making sure to blend down your neck. Jessie's Pick: Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer 2. Smooth a cream foundation over your face, blending it down your neck. Jessie's Picks: Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Foundation or Rimmel Match Perfection Cream Foundation. 3. Dot
