Fab February: Megan Fox Inspired School Makeup

megan fox makeup

Today's Fab February is a school look inspired by Megan Fox in the above picture. Its is pretty, light and perfect for school because it emphasizes all your best features without going too over the top. I have modified a few products to make it more wearable and affordable for those of us in school; I have also tried to use limited number of brushes. This look should take no more than 5-6 minutes. So let's get started:

Face:
1. Starting with a prepped and moisturized face take a BB cream and blend it all over your face using your fingers. The warmth from your fingers will help the BB cream blend into your skin easier. Jessie's Picks: Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream. Rimmel London 9-1 BB Cream Matte.

2. Next take your concealer apply it under the eyes and on any spots or dark marks, then using your ring finger gently pat until blended. Jessie's Picks: Rimmel 2-1 Concealer and Highlighter. Maybelline 24hr SuperStay Concealer.

3. Again using your fingers apply a cream peach coloured blush onto the apples of your cheeks and blend upwards along your cheekbone. Jessie's Picks: Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Peach Satin. Rvelon Photoready Cream Blush in Pinched.

4. Set your makeup with a luminous pressed powder. Jessie's Picks: Revlon Colourstay Aqua Mineral Foundation. Sleek Luminous Pressed Powder.

Eyes:
1. Start with an eye shadow primer to keep your eye makeup in place all day. Jessie's Picks: Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Urban Decay Primer Potion.

2. Take a shimmery gold eye shadow and using a flat eye shadow brush apply it all over your eye lid and into the inner corners. Jessie's Picks: Too Faced Eye Shadow in Honey Pot. L'Oreal Infallible Eye Shadow in Blinged and Brilliant.

3. Tightline your upper lashline with a black eye pencil. Jessie's Picks: Maybelline Line Express in Ebony Black. Avon Glimmersticks in Black.

4. Curl your lashes and apply 2 coats of a black or dark brown volumizing mascara. Jessie's Picks: CoverGirl Lashblast Fusion Mascara. Maybelline Great Lash Mascara.

Lips:
1. Line your lips with a spicy ginger toned lip liner (yes I just used the word spicy to describe a lip colour). Jessie's Picks: Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Liner in Rose Quartz. Maybelline Colorsensational Lip Liner in Toast.

2. Slick on a coat of a peach coloured lip gloss and you are good to go! Jessie's Picks: Maybelline Shine Sensational Lip Gloss in Peach Sorbet. Revlon Colourburst Lipgloss in Papaya

And there you go! Under 10 minutes, and as Megan Fox proves, this looks great even with a simple ponytail. So don't worry if you don't have a lot of time, breathe, and be inspired by Megan Fox.

Anna Edwin is a Norwegian blogger. She began her blog in 2009 and she blogs about everything from hair to bowling (well maybe not actually bowling). Her hair and makeup is always flawless, nice and bronzed.  So I thought it would be perfect for spring and to warm us all up. If you want to check out Anna's blog click  here  (her blog is obviously in Norwegian so you'll have to press the translate button). I searched her blog and tried to use the same products that she does. Let's get started on her makeup look! Face: 1. Start with your favourite face primer. Jessie's Picks: Too Faced Primed and Poreless Skin Smoothing Primer. Korres Greek Yoghurt Face Primer. 2. Next apply your concealer underneath your eyes and on any blemishes. Jessie's Picks: Mac Moisturecover Concealer. TheBalm Time Balm Concealer. 3. On a big fluffy face brush buff a matte powder foundation all over your face and down your neck. Whatever Wednesdays: Victoria Beckham Hair How-To

Victoria Beckham Ponytail: With her long dark brown hair, Victoria Beckham's hairstyle of choice has become the ponytail. This style is quick, and ultra chic. 1. Start with day-old hair (or even if you are starting with freshly washed hair) and spritz with a volumizing dry shampoo. 2. Pull your hair back with your fingers, smoothing over any stray hairs. 3. Once you have your ponytail in the desired place, fasten with a hair tie. 4. Take your straightener and run it over the ends of your ponytail, to give it a sleek effect. 5. Add a tiny dot of shine serum to the ends. Simply rub the serum between your palms, and run your hands over the end of your ponytail. Voila! Tu es fini, and you have a simple and chic hairdo. xx JD Please leave me a comment let me know what you think!  If you have any questions or suggestions: Email me: jessicadonna96@gmail.com

Throwback Everyday Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone! If you know me, you'll know that I have a slight makeup problem... I have way too much! But I can't help it, I just love it so, and I honestly look forward to putting my makeup on every morning. So today I decided I would do a quick post on my fave go to glam look for daytime. It looks quite heavy, but because I'm using mineral makeup it feels like I'm wearing no face makeup at all! My skin is quite sensitive and dry, so for the longest time I thought that mineral makeup wouldn't work for my skin, but boy was I wrong! I was at Winners recently and saw that they had a couple Bellapierre Cosmetics mineral makeup sets on sale for $14... So I thought I'd try it out, and now I can never go back to regular liquid foundations! Mineral makeup is considered to be better for your skin as it is natural, and usually only contains 3-4 natural ingredients. Bellapierre foundation has an SPF of 15 which can cause a little bit of flashback, so if ...
